Bonjour
tout le monde!

Today I was able to do walk number nine, one that I really
enjoyed and it was also on the shorter side. This walk started right outside
the Louvre, and we went into the Louvre des Antiquaires, the finest and most
expensive antique shop in Paris.

After we walked past the Comédie-Française and the Conseil d’Etat
to go into the Jardin du Palais Royal. This garden was very nice and peaceful,
and completely hidden from view. I love how Paris has so many hidden aspects
that seem to be everywhere.

After we went to the Bibliothèque Nationale. Unfortunately,
the national library is going under construction so we had no way of going
inside and looking around which was disappointing.

Then we went to the La Bourse, France’s equivalent of the
New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street. Of course, as all buildings in Paris,
it is very beautiful and one would have no idea that it was the building for
the stock market and not just another palace.

Finally, we went to the Passage des Panoramas. I loved this
covered Passage. There were so many cute shops, little places to eat and very
many restaurants. We went inside a lot of little shops and walked around for a
while.

Overall, I got to see parts of Paris I never would have
before and I loved the passage des panoramas.
À Bientôt,
Claire
